i see way too much toddler slander on here. toddlers are sweet and hilarious. this morning my toddler hugged my head and said 'mommy's so cute, mommy is my best friend!' then there was a new kid at preschool and she said 'oh, who is THIS guy?' show me a newborn who can do this.

What if we prioritized a mom’s recovery after birth, encouraged her to heal and rest at her most raw and vulnerable? How much more enjoyable would the transition to motherhood be? thecut.com/article/what-h…

It's important to note Bread & Roses DSA complicity. The so-called 'Marxists' are idealist scabs who frame workers and staff as oppositional, when they would vote against layoffs if the staff advanced their own narrow vision. But staff are cadre for the entire org, not one faction.

As a proud CWA member I support the demands of my union family in DSA Union. It’s embarrassing to see the socialist organization I’ve called my political home for 8 years act this way

At its best, DSA is a super-charged leadership development machine: turning people who are angry, fed up + scared into socialist leaders who can organize, fight, and win. Not a debate club, a reading group, a mailing list for volunteers, a social club, or a social media account.

This is your daily reminder: no law or policy is as empowering or beneficial for workers as a strong collective bargaining agreement enforced by the unionized workers themselves.

Thank you to the Los Angeles Times for such a strong, moving endorsement of my re-election campaign. What an unbelievable honor it is to have earned the endorsement of the paper I start my day with.

Renters in Los Angeles make up nearly two-thirds of the population, yet they are consistently excluded from the city’s decision-making processes. City Councilmember Hugo Soto-Martinez is trying to change that. jacobin.com/2024/01/hugo-s…
