My first close-up shots of the new eruption on Reykjanes Peninsula which began a few hours ago (December 19th, 2023).

After waiting at the potential eruption site for five days, it has finally started. I’m on location right now documenting it all. Stay tuned for updates!

Last weekend, I visited the Highlands of Iceland, hoping to capture this crater lake with frozen ground at sunrise.

After a cold night in my car, I woke up at 6 AM and waited for sunrise. I was freezing, but completely forgot about it as soon as I sent the drone up ❄️

One of my favorite photos of the Fagradalsfjall eruption. I shot this in May 2021 when the crater was spewing magma jets over 400 meter up in the air. It was absolutely mind blowing to watch up-close! 🌋
