HomeNet International, alongside @StreetNet1, IDWF, ♻️ International Alliance of Waste Pickers and @WIEGOGlobal, will be present at the @ILO International Labour Conference in Geneva, 3–14 June.

Between May 1-5, I attended the 1st Elective Congress of the International Alliance of Waste Pickers (IAWP), witnessing a historic moment for waste pickers. The IAWP unites over 460,000 workers from 50+ organizations in 34 countries. Feeling so fortunate to be there!

🎉Historic achievement: ♻️ International Alliance of Waste Pickers held its 1st Elective Congress!🎊

⭐ IDWF's President, Carmen Brítez, participated in this event hosted by the #IAWP , who gathered in Argentina to elect their new leadership and discuss the way forward for more than 460,000 waste pickers.
