All vessels are requested to give rowing vessels a wide berth and make minimum wake during the regattas.

With easterly winds now in place, sea fog out in the Alboran Sea could push towards the BGTW during the rest of Wednesday & overnight, reducing visibility to below 1000M at times.

As winds turn light and variable, there is a risk of patchy fog forming in the Alboran Sea, which may affect parts of Gibraltar between 1000hrs & 1600h.

Fog may reduce visibility to around 100M.

From 1900 there's a risk that fog may begin to affect eastern and southern parts of Gib and may reduce visibility to around 100 metres at times

Strong winds expected to affect Gibraltar this afternoon, evening and overnight. Mean wind speeds expected to exceed 20 KT with regular gusts over 35 KT.

Westerly winds gusting 33-38KT may affect Gibraltar at times associated with a couple of troughs moving away to the south east.

GALE FORCE WARNING - VALID FROM 1800HRS 26/03/24 UNTIL 0100 27/03/24.

Winds gusting 40-45KT may affect Gibraltar this evening associated with a couple of troughs moving over from the northwest. This risk is expected to decline from midnight as the troughs move to the southeast.

PRESS RELEASE - GIBRALTAR DELEGATION FROM LOCAL MARITIME SECTOR ATTENDS INTERNATIONAL ENERGY WEEK AND IBIA ANNUAL DINNER IN LONDON
Gibraltar’s maritime community recently joined the CEO and Captain of the Port at the prestigious IBIA Dinner.

GARA will be holding a regatta on Sat 23rd and Sun 24th March @10am in harbour waters. 2 buoys will be placed as indicated below. The start/finish will be at the Northern end of Peter Isola Promenade. The whole event should be finished by 11:00am on both days.

Sea fog will push into BGTW during Mon afternoon and overnight, with visibility periodically dropping below 1000 M. The east anchorage & waters south of Europa Point are most likely to be affected

Military Training HMS MEDWAY blank firings exercise at 44 Berth(GIBDOCK). The co-ordinates for GIBDOCK are as follows:
36 07 368 N 5 21 164W 1500 to 1700. Mariners can contact RN units on VHF Ch 16/12/8 throughout.
