Today has been a day of celebration. All pupils have had their reward assemblies to recognise their incredible achievements and we have had our Easter Attendance Raffle with an appearance from the Easter Bunny to round off the day.

We have finished our World Book Day celebrations off with a visit from the author Paul Dowswell. Paul lead an assembly for all pupils in years 7 and 8, where he shared his vast historical knowledge,  his inspirations as a writer and answered pupils' questions. George Eliot Academy

Thank you to Paul Dowswell, author of over 100 books, for visiting us today to speak to Year 7 and 8 pupils about life as a writer. This afternoon, he will deliver writing workshops for pupils.
