For reference, an A&E nurse may be expected to see a new patient every five minutes, for up to 12 hours per day. A&E doctors typically see at least 12 people per day, each. GPs rarely have more than 15 minutes per patient. Difficult to explain why 3 per year isn't just fraud.

Before I was a nurse I volunteered with LGBT+ refugees and asylum seekers, and one of my roles was to proofread evidence statements to the home office for grammar. I remember reading stuff that still gives me nightmares today, and yet the claims were still rejected.

This whimsy is just nauseating in the context of how the Home Office treats actual flesh and blood human beings.
