The 2024 Fresno State Baseball season could be summarized in three words: “Expect the unexpected.” It took turns few could’ve foreseen - so no matter where they’re placed in NCAAs, don’t bother predicting Dogs’ fate. We’ve had no idea where this ride is headed, but it’s fun to follow.

Diamond ‘Dogs win four games in three days to clinch Mountain West baseball title and spot in NCAA tournament. What a rollercoaster season: from 25-9 start, to 4-18 stretch, to four straight wins - Fresno State is on the “Road to Omaha.”

Fresno State leads San Jose State, 15-3 in top of 6th. If they lead by 10 runs after the seventh inning, the game ends by mercy rule and Bulldogs are Mountain West champs.

Diamond ‘Dogs have five hits in 5th inning, putting up a four-spot…. They lead San Jose State 10-3 in Mountain West title game.

In top of 4th inning of Mountain West baseball championship, Bobby Blandford and Justin Stransky hit back-to-back home runs. Fresno State leads San Jose State, 6-2.
