Great Day #2 at #EESMechanobiology with Rashmi Priya Campàs Lab Shyer/Rodrigues Laboratory of Morphogenesis and many other great talks.
Happy to see our work on How Hydrostatic Pressure controls Development via Yap in the cover of Nature Cell Biology Nature Cell Biology. Congratulation to Delan Alasaadi Delan N Alasaadi for the design and thanks to Julien Marcetteau for the image. To see the paper go to: nature.com/articles/s4155…
It’s a SUPER BINGO for our esteemed member Iannacone Lab!
Following an European Research Council (ERC) Starting, a Consolidator and two Proof of Concept, he is now the winner of a prestigious Advanced grant!

The choice of whether to use Seurat or Scanpy for single-cell RNA-seq analysis typically comes down to a preference of R vs. Python. But do they produce the same results? In biorxiv.org/content/10.110… w/ Joseph Rich et al. we take a close look. The results are 👀 1/🧵
Two Postdoc positions in my lab Human Technopole! Please RT!
We have an Open Targets project in collaboration with Gosia Trynka lab. An ambitious project, with industry partnership to comprehensively understand regulators of B cell activation using CRISPR screens.
With the new #BigStitcher -Spark you can reconstruct (lightsheet) microscopy acquisitions that range up to size of petabytes.
And also terabyte-sized datasets of cleared samples like mouse brains and even small tiled confocal or widefield acquisitions.

A 🧵:
We present projection imaging with parameter selection (PROPS) for light-sheet microscopy.

With PROPS, we can control the depth and location of a projection, and optically unwrap a curved surface, here of a drosophila embryo.

First, from me - an invited short review in JournalofMicroscopy about general strategies to how you actually sit down and solve image analysis problems efficiently and effectively. One of my favorite things I've ever written! Hope it helps. (2/3) onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/jm…
