The first ❤️ transplant in Scotland was carried out in 1992 on January 1st into 2nd by Prof David Wheatley. The recipient was Robert Colville, aged 49 years. Wheatley was Prof of Cardiac surgery at The Royal between 1979 & 2006. #valentinesday2024 bit.ly/49eHBHf
