Very happy for our lab member Bahne Bahners receiving the Thiemann fellowship! Congratulations and have a great time in Boston.
Congratulations Rachel Spooner, PhD for receiving this prestigious fellowship! We are very happy to continue the amazing work and are honored to host you😀
In this #JNeurosci study, Soheila Samiee, Sylvain Baillet 🇺🇦 et al. The McConnell Brain Imaging Centre (BIC) used brain imaging to track how neural signals at multiple frequencies interact with one another to see how salient sounds are detected & processed by brain circuits. jneurosci.org/lookup/DOI/10.…
Jung et al. report that involving simulated connectomes can improve the prediction performance of machine-learning methods in classifying parkinsonian patients against healthy subjects for appropriate data processing. Kyesam Jung, PhD Simon Eickhoff HHU_Medizin bit.ly/3IvK2dG
Thanks to Rachel Spooner, PhD for presenting the lab‘s work at DGKN!
Another great publication from the lab - spearheaded by Rachel Spooner, PhD!
The ICNeuromodulation Charité lab is hiring a medical doctor for European Research Council (ERC) #StG on #reinforcement effects of #deepbrainstimulation in #Parkinson disease at Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin. Come discover how we support instead of disrupt brain circuit activity with #DBS, #ECoG & #MachineLearning.
Congratulations to Abhinav Sharma Abhinav Sharma for completing his PhD this week! We’re so happy for you and excited to see what’s next!
How does deep brain stimulation work? Julian Neumann Leon Amadeus Steiner Luka Milosevic explain in their new Update in Brain #DBS academic.oup.com/brain/advance-…
Last but not least Esther Florin Neuroscience Lab and colleagues recorded a real Parkinson's patient with Percept PC and subthalamic SenSight electrodes and we were able to see cortico-subthalamic coherent networks in the alpha and beta bands as previously described in the literature.
Thanks to all the co-authors who made this work possible. In London Mansoureh Fahimi and George O’Neill @goneill.bsky.social, in Duesseldorf Esther Florin Neuroscience Lab, Matthias Sure and Alfons Schnitzler and Gaetano Leogrande from Medtronic who is a great asset to the European DBS research community.
Thanks to all co-authors in Berlin and Düsseldorf: Roxanne Lofredi , Til Sander, Alfons Schnitzler, Andrea Kühn & my great supervisor Esther Florin Neuroscience Lab 🧠
