Another big thanks to everybody who participated in our "Dinner Talks" on effective civil society support to normalization at KPDS. Here's a glimpse of the highlights to help us reflect on a great discussion:

Pleased to announce our upcoming book ‘Negotiating Peace in Kosovo’ with Palgrave Macmillan - co-authored with Bekim Çollaku & Dan Ilazi. The book offers insights into the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue and EU’s role in peacebuilding. Coming 2025!

Great to see our chapter on Kosovo–Albania security cooperation out!We examine an increasingly important pillar of regional stability in the Western Balkans: Kosovo–Albania security cooperation, from informal wartime ties to formal strategic agreements.

Another substantive “Dinner Talks” event by Kosovo Civic Alternative, featuring an open exchange among politicians and civil society on #Kosovo’s post-election prospects. We hope for a resolution to the institutional deadlock with a view to normalization, int. partnerships, and multiethnicity.

Happy to share our new book "Negotiating Peace in Kosovo" (with Ramadan Ilazi & Fisnik Rexhepi), now out with Palgrave Macmillan! We critically examine the EU’s role in Kosovo’s peace process—what worked, what didn’t, and what it means for future mediation. #EUpolitics #Kosovo

KCA is civil society in action. Last night we held a special edition of our “Dinner Talks” series where we discussed #Kosovo’s Euro-Atlantic future with senior political party representatives and diplomats.

Another example of impact on the ground: the Institute and our civil society partners gathered key political and diplomatic actors in Kosovo to promote cross-party cohesion on the country’s Euro-Atlantic commitments, including the dialogue with Serbia. A big thank you to

A group of Kosovo-based and international scholars & civil society voices express deep concern over the recent decision of the Kosovo Specialist Chambers to admit documents from Serbian state institutions as evidence. Read our full public reaction in English and Albanian.

We are shocked and outraged by the Klan Kosova report on NGO Aktiv. Based on false narratives, it construes dangerous allegations, dishonoring journalistic ethos. It puts Aktiv at risk and undermines constitutional liberties. Media watchdogs must react to defend democracy!
