The President Donald J. Trump and U.S. EPA know what’s at stake. They have the power to act now and stop Pebble Mine. #BristolBay is too special to be destroyed by a massive open pit mine looking for short-term profit. It’s time for our leaders to do what’s right and kill Pebble Mine for good.

66+ million wild sockeye #salmon returned to #BristolBay this past year 🐟. This thriving ecosystem supports thousands of jobs, a $2.2B economy, and the region’s Indigenous peoples. It’s time for the U.S. EPA to finally protect Bristol Bay and #VetoPebbleMine. fishermenforbristolbay.org/take-action

A $2.2 billion fishery, 15,000 jobs, and the greatest sockeye salmon run on Earth are at stake. But this story doesn’t have to end in devastation. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency can play its part and protect #BristolBay from Pebble Mine. It's time. #VetoPebbleMine

We all love stories from the sea. Tidal Change, a new pilot podcast from TNC Alaska, hands the mic to Alaska fishing boat captains who tell stories of changing seas and rising temperatures along with a mix of fear and hope for what's ahead. Listen in! nature.ly/3uhcUyW

A recent poll found that over three-quarters of Alaskans agree that fishing is more important to Alaska's economy than mining. Alaska's salmon runs cannot survive alongside Pebble Mine. Our leaders must protect this sustainable resource and #VetoPebbleMine.

.U.S. EPA's revised Proposed Determination for #BristolBay is good- it expands the area where mine waste discharge would be limited in the headwaters of the most prolific sockeye salmon fishery on the planet. TAKE ACTION -> savebristolbay.org/take-action
