Niall Kenny Willy Neil Gillespie 86_ramcc You're going to tell us that it was all a right wing conspiracy- that Brexiters are sheeple. You don't actually give any data to support your views. Does that not concern you? Here's some of the points I make- fee free to refute them...IF YOU CAN?

Pogo Willy Neil Gillespie 86_ramcc The exceptionalism that English nationalists feel doesn't do anything for the economy of the UK. What trade deals can GB do that is of greater benefit than with the EU?

Niall Kenny Willy Neil Gillespie 86_ramcc The EU is 27 countries. 700m ppl.

The EU has no deals with the following:

The US say 331m.
China 1.4bn
India 1.4bn.
CPTPP is bigger than the EU.

Almost all the countries the EU has deals with the UK rolled over.

Did the EU offer the UK the same type of deal?

Then we're good.

Willy Pogo Niall Kenny Neil Gillespie Newsflash for you. Asian countries, like European ones, do most of their trade with each other. Joining CPTPP, a geographically fragmented FTA (where UK already had CPTPP-level access to 450m of CPTPP's 510m pop. via EU FTAs/rollovers) won't burnish UK with much new GDP (0.08%).
