We grapple with whether to ban TikTok. Good to remember the many news/social media apps China has already banned. Facebook, Google, Twitter, Snapchat, YouTube, Netflix, most global media sites, and on & on.

We worry about being 'too aggressive' as the aggressor quietly chuckles.

We just landed in Tel Aviv with Secretary Antony Blinken. He has a full day of meetings tomorrow with Israeli officials. He plans to discuss the proposed hostage/ceasefire deal offered to Hamas, the need for more humanitarian aid in Gaza, and Bibi’s stated aim of doing an offensive in Rafah.

Ridiculous some would seek to rescind an invitation to the US president. Why not hear him out, let him make the case, and disagree if you like, but the professionally aggrieved should not be allowed to determine whether or not he speaks.

The new 'five antis' in China: anti-subversion, anti-hegemony, anti-separatism, anti-terrorism and anti-espionage. If you think China is bad now, it might turn unrecognizable in the coming years, and the world will have to reckon with that.
