I’ve yet to effectively find a strategy for the “I part” of exam practice. Have taken inspiration from Mr PM to prepare my IB DP students for their 9 marker so I can talk them through my thinking before we attempt a question together and then they move on to independent practice

Great work with Y8 this week, who are preparing for a group discussion task! Using Venn diagrams to unpick the meaning of ‘discussion/debate/argument’ and then using the Voice 21 Oracy talk tactics to outline the discussion and consider how learners can keep discussion moving! 👏🏻
