I made a video about the S Mode phenomenon a while back.

«S Mode» is simply a euphemism for an active App Control for Business (formerly Windows Defender App Control) policy disabling unverified applications from running on the system.

Enderman You got me curious so I had a closer look, it was HTML at one point, because the HTML template still exists in the app directory. Here's (almost) exactly how it looked. I had to insert the strings and colors manually, but it totally matches this screenshot I found.
