Our work to define the regional organization of the small intestine is online Nature Cell Biology today: rdcu.be/dxWxy!! Make way for domains A – E and a new approach to track the molecular patterns of nutrient metabolism. Many thanks to Stylianos Lefkopoulos (he/m)
& our reviewers!
Thrilled to announce that I have accepted a TT faculty offer at Vanderbilt University in the Dept. of Pharmacology Vanderbilt Pharmacology and Vanderbilt Brain Institute Vanderbilt Brain Institute, starting in September 2024!! 🥳🥳 We will study mechanisms of somatosensory circuit assembly for touch
Applications for the 2024 #HannaGrayFellows Program are now open!

Beyond excited to share that I will be starting my lab at the Molecular Biology and Genetics department at Cornell University (Cornell MBG) in 2025! My lab will use genetics and experimental evolution to study meiosis and genome instability in pathogenic and model fungi.
Could not be more excited to share the first #preprint from my lab!!! This project started during my postdoc w/ Ruslan Medzhitov and has taken many twists and turns over the years! In the end, we found a new role for #macrophages in restraining IFN-I responses during viral infection
Want to know more about #macrophages in the resolution of #inflammation ? Look no further! Check out our review on conserved functions of macrophages to dampen inflammation and how dysregulation contributes to #fibrosis and COVID-19. Huge congrats to Patricia Rodz-Morales on this work!
The beautiful review that Claire Ang and @taylordskokan wrote is now out!

Really exciting work from one of my most favorite people Rachel Zwick provides a much needed update to our antiquated understanding of GI anatomy using modern molecular tools 🤓
🎉 Today we're thrilled to announce our 2023 #HannaGrayFellows ! Please join us in welcoming and celebrating these outstanding early career scientists!

Thrilled to share that this week I assumed a new position as a tenure-track Asst. Prof. at CSI Singapore Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine joint appoint. with A*STAR Infectious Diseases (ID) Labs A*STAR, back where it all started. The lab will study T and B cells in infection and cancer, and we are actively recruiting!
Thrilled to share that I will join Berkeley Bioengineer as an Asst Prof. in Jan 2024! My lab will study how diet + microbiome molecules affect tissue homeostasis, focusing on podocyte biology. If interested in applying chemoinformatics and molbio to decipher chemical signals, reach out!
