Update: Twitter HR is now telling everyone who does not sign the ridiculous new pledge they have resigned. Employment law does not work that way. You cannot deprive people of unemployment benefits and wrongful termination cases by saying that they resigned. Nice try though!

I’ve been sad for years about how the algorithmic timeline dampens your reach on Twitter but I didn’t realize how bad it was until I went all-in on in Mastodon.

Mastodon is amazing and collaborative—folks are more likely to re-share posts over there.

Love this advice! I forget it all the time, and I'm trying to get better about it, but to Zach Leatherman's credit, it's really hard advice to take. It seems like content creators have such amazing platforms to post from, but really, it usually starts from something small and minimal!
