In collaboration with INCOIS, a New Wave Rider Buoy (MK 3 model) successfully deployed in Tuticorin coastal waters near Kosuwari Island, which is located 15km away from Tharuvaikulam fishing Harbour. The buoy deployed has started reporting real-time data to INCOIS.

Today ghost gear clean- up drive was conducted in Mandapam region under the UNDP-SGP with 25 active fishermen volunteers covering 800 m coastal length and collected 600kg of marine debris and for collective action distributed spades,rakes,combs to the identified volunteers.
