Since 2019 URBED worked on an 'Urban Design and Sustainability Strategy' for Barnsley Town Centre. Barnsley has gained Purple Flag status for the last 3 years, recognising it as a diverse, safe and enjoyable daytime and night time destination. barnsley.gov.uk/services/plann…

In other more positive news, URBED was part of the City of York Council design team who won an RTPI award last night! Our landscape design explored spaces for communal growing activities and play, with a balance of soft and hard landscaping and integrated sustainable urban drainage.
