Ok still did not like the song, after the teaser. Too repititive, looks same, too much masala, kitsch, too massy for me. Just something. Maybe it will be a blockbuster but this 'flower' has not bloomed for me. Not interesting or trendy enough.

Perhaps somewhere it reflects on their performances (& movies) 2. Where no matter how hard they work on them, they appear soulless somewhere... Great actors are also about being all heart, passion & emotion, isn't it - all which R spontaneous & instinctive? Things forgotten 2day

Today's stars take up social projects & issues which can gain better publicity. It's less close 2 their hearts & more about what their team advises them 2 do. 😃 But there are sum gr8 stars 2 who do wonderful work without informing the world (& media) about it. Respect for them.

On an aside... remembering that fabulous actor & person Irrfan Khan, my first meeting was with him was as a reporter in Mid Day when I started out. Mangroves near his home were being destroyed & he had called me to do a story. He was that environmentally conscious back then...

Posts put out by actors on social media is a well planned, well thought out strategy with selected pics, of what will suit their image best or attract the right brands. Nothing is natural or organic anymore about them. How can we expect their conversations to be Akkshay Rathie / अक्षय राठी 🇮🇳 ?

He stopped giving stories on the excuse that his PR got upset whenever he gave me a story, because other journalists would get upset with the publicist, for giving me the exclusive & write negatively on his movies! Lo suno baat! Does this happen in Hollywood?

A top level producer, whose movies in recent times havent done so well, used 2 be a good friend (& gr8 source) till he hired a PR. He had given me the fantastic story (& more) of Shah Rukh Khan & Salman Khan patching up at Farah Khan & Shirish Kunder's marriage & dancing together

So many times a producer or director tells me that they cant confirm the story as their publicist will get upset. Scared of publicist or scared of losing money? But aren't they anyways losing money by sometimes wrongly publicity of content which is publicised only during release?

This has happened with the PR & manager systems coming in & studio models, Amit. Earlier we could trust the makers as some would even affirm the story offrecord & give story later. There used to be a relationship of trust working then... now we have to break without confirmation.

Faced it sometimes. Producers & directors deny it completely, then later pops up in some other media... My only thing there is about Imran Khan himself denying it as a lead story in a prominent newspaper... if it came true, would not the makers (& IK) look massively silly later?

Best Aamir Khan interview and Show I watched on him. Candid, emotional, humorous - this is the AK we love. He opened up like never before on Kapil Sharma 's show. Loved the anecdotes on 3 Idiots & more.
