My daughter just asked me if I would be the one to ordain her when the time comes. I had to break it to her that I have no desire to ever become a GS, but I would be honored to pray over her as my dad did for me.

I'm going to have more time on my hands soon, and I can't decide what I should do with it.

My Naz Safe certificate is expired, so I'm watching the videos to update it.
And now I realize why I've been unconsciously putting it off. These stories hit much harder when someone you know fits the description.

Well, I just became the long distance daughter that calls doctors to get stuff done. Moved an appointment up a week sooner and got them on a list to call if there are any cancellations.

My dad (who has been through so much with his health in the past few months) is having emergency eye surgery tomorrow.

I just heard daiquiris described as 'grown man kool-aid,' and that's all I'm calling them from now on.
