RESPONDING TO MISTAKES "I'm letting the team down because I turned the ball over ... missed a shot ... blew a defensive assignment. No, you're letting the team down when it parlays into 4 or 5 possessions after that. Pick yourself up... You're playing a game that's imperfect."

Great quote here. When I think of BCD, it’s usually about how we, whichever group I am apart of at that time, don’t need the negativity and it’s annoying. But the fact that the BCD mindset simply delays the solving of issues hits home this morning. Take action.

Studying Ritchie McKay’s Liberty program is a must for coaches off season development. Culture. Modern offense. Tenacious defense.

How are players scoring in the NCAA tournament? Catch & shoot Pick & roll DHO One/two dribble pull ups Rips, pivots & jabs Two foot finishing Very few ISOs and not a lot of dribbling If your goal is to play in college.. are you working on these things DAILY?

The problem with the good private schools: Massive homework load. I refuse to help my kids with homework. Im against it 100%. If my kid can’t get what you need him to get done in 8 hours at school, you aren’t doing your job. It’s ridiculous.

Looking forward to seeing how the QB drama works out at UT. Super proud that Dan Lanning had the guts to call UT about Nico being shopped. Next crazy plot twist: Arch Manning to ride into Knoxville and become the next Vol legend??

Winning is the result of working not wanting, of great discipline not strong desire. Everyone has desires. But few build the discipline to earn what they desire. We create excellence by doing the work with discipline, not by believing with passion.

Jay Wright on focusing on what you can control "Your attitude is your greatest characteristic. You don't control your intelligence, your size, or your God-given talents. What you do control, though, is your attitude.” (Via The Winning Difference πŸŽ₯)

Ben McCollum said, "Your job is to not be here for yourself - but it’s to be here for everybody else." Great teams are built of selflessness. β€’ You show up for each other. β€’ You sacrifice for each other. β€’ You win with each other. (Iowa Men’s Basketball)
