We conducted OMERO setup and configuration workshops for imaging facility managers along with the #foundinggide BioInage Hackathon and Worshops, Kobe, Japan. Attendees tried to install OMERO on Linux virtual machines on the cloud.

The OMERO installation workshop at #foundingGIDE event at RIKEN in Kobe was followed by the "Imaging workflows in OMERO" workshop. The participants had the satisfaction of installing OMERO on a VM. A lively discussion ensued on Monday 4th November here in Kobe.

Day 2 and 3 of the #foundingGIDE Hackathon was a mix of #ilastik, #metadata, #ontology, #OMERO and the cutting edge of computing! We visited one of the world's most powerful #Fugaku supercomputer at RIKEN 💻🔬 #Interoperability
