I think there needs to be some clarification that a UK Physician Assistant is a band 4 administrative role NOT to be confused with Physician Associate, which is a clinical role involving level 7 postgraduate training and which will soon have a protected title - typically band 7.

Thank you Nursing and Midwifery Council for supporting and diversifying services rather limiting them for nurses and midwives for prescriptions rights as Physician Associate as this will help advance care to meet patients needs holistically 😀 we need Pro-MAPs organisations as you.

Pointing fingers at PAs must stop. Clearly vast majority of these 1 in 20 hospital admission errors are not down to PAs. Errors occur in relation to all staff including doctors.
