The OneCityParkBFD development is a success story for Bradford.

Having a big international like PwC put their name on the building (and expand their workforce) shows that regeneration is happening here.

This is a welcome addition to the city skyline 🏗️

Along with Si Cunningham & Susan Hinchcliffe I've been pushing Northern and Network Rail on the broken lift and stairwell at Forster Square in the absence of any meaningful communication. All that has been posted is a sheet of A4 stuck to the shutters, which is unacceptable. 1/

I'd hoped we were moving away from this sort of visual clutter in our public realm, so it's a shame to see a planning app for this beast in Centenary Square.
Not only does it create a poor physical barrier, such units have attracted ASB/blight elsewhere. Objection submitted.

Love to see more of these popping up, and people taking pride in them.
Next goal is to get the whole of BD1’s heritage streets done in time for 2025 👌

Thank you Bradford Council for running a slick election today. Thanks to those in Bolton and Undercliffe for your support and conversations over the last few weeks. Thanks to the magnificent Corn Dolly on Bolton Road for the post-election pint.

If you live in Bolton and Undercliffe please consider voting for me tomorrow so that I can carry on serving as your City Councillor.

I promise to keep working hard for Bradford, to be a proper champion for this city, and to be ambitious for our future. Thank you ✌️

Lots of good conversations and casework in Bolton and Undercliffe today: pension inequality; street lights; playgrounds; fireworks; affordable housing; barking dogs; bus stops; markets; speeding cars…

Plus nice to see yet more of our heritage-style street signs rolled out!

For the benefit of train users, especially those with visual impairment, the design of all railway signage (and the space around it) should be sacrosanct; consider a railway ‘network’ that has been reduced to this and imagine what it could have been like (see Europe etc)
