so steve was kicked out of his families home when he was 14, (I’m not to sure why yet) being a borrower on his own in the wild was terrifying, like if honey i shrunk the kids was a horror movie. but steve is steve and kept trecking on to find somewhere for himself.

he passed some houses that he stayed in the cracks of for warmth at night but new it would be very risky and hard to try and get into the walls. he finally ended up at forest hills one day and noticed that one trailer had a window open and seemed easy to climb into. 2/4

by the time he got into the walls it was getting dark. he set up for the night, eating what was left of a berry he had been slowly eating for the past few days. he fell asleep but was woken up near dawn by the feeling of being watched. 3/4

when he opened his eyes he saw a strange little borrower girl (el) and he panicked thinking hed chosen the wrong new home. after el said a few words to him to calm him, she took him to her families home. theres more and I will be updating this :3

He gets adopted by els family by the way. and that family consists of: el, Robin, Joyce, and hopper :°D
