Good drive. If Michigan wants to pull an upset, though, it needs to flip around the 3rd down conversion rate numbers on both sides of the ball.

I didn't expect Michigan to win the battle of the line of scrimmage of offense. But losing it on defense is rough, and that needs to change ASAP if there's any hope of getting a win in this one.

Good coverage by the Michigan secondary there to (finally) force a field goal. Ewers had a lot of time to make a throw and they held coverage for a good ~8 seconds.

I actually really like what I've seen from Donovan Edwards in the first half. More patient running, moving piles forward and not going down to immediate contact. Major improvement. He just hasn't had many touches to do anything with, because the defense can't get off the field.

When you're playing a team that's better at football than you are, you're going to need to play mistake-free football to get an upset. Michigan is not playing mistake-free football.

Steve Sarkisian just provided the book on how to beat Michigan in the first half. I hope everyone in Columbus is illiterate.

Semaj Morgan could've gone down a yard shy on that fourth down conversion. Instead he fought his ass off to get it. Then just put together a great effort on that next play, which should end up counting as a touchdown. This program needs some dogs and he's certainly one of them.

Michigan just suffered its first regular season loss in more than 1,000(!) days. It played against a bona fide National Title contender. Am I disappointed in how today went? Of course. But if you feel the need to fill your diaper online, I'm not interested in your meltdowns.

Remarkably ballsy for an Ohio State fan to get on Twitter and ask a Michigan fan about a countdown since someone has beaten someone else.

I can't believe Northern Illinois upset Notre Dame. What a remarkable upset. Given the magnitude of that upset, I think it's only fair to talk about that game and nothing else for the next few days.

Aidan Hutchinson (who has played great all night long against double teams, impacting plays time and time again) picks up his sack at the end of regulation. Box score watchers don't know what to get mad about now.

What an absolutely dominant performance in overtime by the Lions. This is a tough team. This is a special team. Have a safe flight back home, Matthew.

Michigan got its ass kicked on Saturday. I wrote a lot of words about it (🔒). scottbell.substack.com/p/texas-31-mic…

Trying to enjoy my Tuesday but I’m just too pissed at Aidan Hutchinson for going almost all of regulation without a sack on Sunday. I’m literally sick to my stomach over how little of an impact he had on that game for the first 59+ minutes. I might not come home after work.
