STEAM Night was great! Each grade level showed parents how we think like engineers and scientists at Midway!

1st Graders dove into the world of penguins! They asked many questions and took a hands on approach to finding the solutions to their questions. 🐧

1st Grade students coded Ozobots with a little help from Mrs. Sandy Bradshaw and A5 Elem DIS. They programmed the bots to turn left, right, or go straight by color coding the map.

We brought home 2nd place in the Children’s Engineering Design Contest at Carowinds out of 25. We had two of our roller coasters entered in the contest.
