Each proposal has opened up different potential facets of the term 'protocol.' We look forward to seeing videos, fiction literature (sci-fi and others), & more serious real-world protocol research to create a more protocolized world. 'Protocolized' is better than 'digitized!'

their point is that at each level of biology, competent subunits (e.g. cells, or organs, or individual humans) combine to develop a joint capacity that each individual doesn't have on its own. in doing so the units expand their perceptual field, overcoming more complex barriers
