Trans people are targets of cruelty right now. Official targets, official cruelty. By law. Life is already hard for them, and there is a significant bloc of assholes working night and day to make it harder. If you aren't in direct, vocal opposition to that, you are a bad person.

It will continue to amaze me that Steve recorded the single most beautiful Low song ever. If anyone ever doubted his skills, this is proof he knew wtf he was doing.

Shellac's 'Futurist,' a self-released album to be given to friends, 800 of whose names are printed alphabetically on the sleeve. ('Rachel Grimes, Clare Grogan, Dave Grohl...') No one made them do this! It was their own lovely, insane idea. RIP.

I'm deeply saddened to hear the news of Steve Albini’s passing. Steve was a real gift to music and helped both The Wedding Present and Cinerama develop our sound and transform our identity. He was also a genuine person and a complete pleasure to be around.
