Male Conocephalus conocephalus (Pygmy Conehead) from the magnificent Arroyo de Las Piedras on 06.10.22 -spine on the male cerci in the basal rather than apical 3rd (of both C.dorsalis and C.fuscus that are here in the UK)

Victory snatched from the jaws of defeat! Great Grey Shrike popped up on gorse then a small pine not far from Pig Bush car park after a 4 1/2 hr wander (and an ear bend!)
