We applaud the Nashville PD on their response time, bravery and professionalism in resolving what could have been a way worse situation. At the same time. Being armed is a response time of about 1-2 seconds. Faculty should be encouraged to be armed and trained.

The firearms aren’t the issue. What has occurred that compels a sick, twisted individual to target schools? What is happening within society and people that is making this happen? Personally - I have my own theories.
