My child gets DLA, which we spend on therapies the NHS doesn’t provide and assessments of educational needs that a school could arrange but can’t afford to. Give us the support my child needs in order to function in the world, which is equity, and we’ll give the benefit back.

Most Tory voters think disabled people already have too little support from the benefits system.

So if you are an adult your disability support will be based on diagnosis, not needs. But if you are a child with a disability diagnosis your school or council often deny support, based on their assessment of 'needs.' So which is it, people? (I know, the cheaper one).
