Beyond the insightful sessions and impactful learning, we also had uplifting moments to dance, interact, and connect at #CSPS5 reminding us that civic engagement is not only about dialogue, but also about building community & celebrating together. #ProtectCivicSpace

I had the privilege of attending the Naivasha Security Meeting held at YMCA, Kabati where we engaged in a crucial dialogue on the challenges, solutions, and the way forward in addressing security concerns within our town.

The discussion centered on Kabati, Guest Inn, Site, and other areas that continue to face insecurity.The Naivasha ACC Madam Charity Kathure, assured stakeholders that she would brief the DCC on the meeting’s resolutions..

The ACC emphasized her commitment to work hand in hand with all actors to strengthen security systems & restore dignity within our communities. Both Assistant Chiefs, Madam Margery & Mr. Khabby Maina, pledged to ensure young people are actively involved in Nyumba Kumi formations.

MASS VOTER REGISTRATION – NAIVASHA CONSTITUENCY. Participatory democracy begins with voter registration. It is the first step in ensuring that every voice counts and that every community is represented in decision-making.

We are encouraging all eligible citizens..especially Gen Z and millennials..to take part in the weekly mass voter registration exercise at the Naivasha Constituency IEBC office starting Friday, 3rd October 2025, from 8:00AM to 5:00PM.

We move from the streets to the ballot. By registering, we strengthen our democracy, uphold civic responsibility, and shape the future of our wards, constituencies, counties, and our nation. #RegisterToVote #Naivasha #YouthParticipation #DemocracyInAction

The voter registration turnout remains low, and this should concern us all. Next week, we will continue mobilizing Gen Zs to show up with their original IDs and register as voters at the Naivasha IEBC office. IEBC

I also want to remind those who have already applied for IDs but have not collected them to make it a priority. Thousands of IDs are lying uncollected in bulk, and yet they hold the power to decide our collective future. IEBC Mtaani Konnect Entertainment

The change we want to see in 2027 will not be achieved by staying silent or sitting on the sidelines. It will be determined by our willingness to take responsibility,register, and vote. History will remember the generation that showed up. Let us be that generation. 🗳️ IEBC
