Highly impressive swings from 2025 OF Tyler Brobst tonight with a trio of barrels here. Simple actions and holds adv. barrel skills within a mature all-fields approach at the plate. Creates easy leverage throughout within the athletic 6-foot-1, 175-pound frame.

‼️ RECRUITS ‼️ Keep this in mind as AAU season heats up.. When I’m scouting, I’m not just paying attention to how many points you’re scoring… I’m watching your warm-up. How serious do you take it? Are you locked in from the second you hit the court before any college coaches

Thank you to Joe Frankie & Chestatee Farms for having us out for a tour yesterday. Got to see & learn about business management, large scale production, & plant propagation techniques as he demonstrated how he grafts his persimmon trees @FCCollegeCareer SouthForsythHS

When I took the position to be the "turf teacher", I wasn't really sure what to expect. This group was my first year one AG class. While all of them aren't pursuing careers in this field, they've learned skills and made MEMORIES that will last a lifetime.

Our students got to meet some industry professionals at the elite level. Equipment managers, assistant superintendents, equipment contractors and more. They shared valuable information from small engines, to fertility, & course management. SouthForsythHS Forsyth County Schools Pathways | CTAE & Fine

And after lunch, we were able to see the results of the East Lake crews hard work with a short tour of holes 6, 7, & 8. Students were lucky enough to catch Collin Morikawa & JJ Spaun tee off #6 during their practice round. Such a cool experience for our students.

Playing hard is the baseline. Skill is the separator. I have heard countless trainers & coaches telling players that playing hard is the most important thing in development/exposure...it's not. Here’s why effort alone won’t separate a player. A thread🧵

Our year 2 horticulture class sprucing up our daffodil beds in preparation for winter. They've been learning about the different types and uses for mulching including soil temperature & moisture regulation as well as aesthetics.

Last week, our upper-level turf students detached the reels from our fairway unit to be sent off for grinding. Then we worked on setting heads to irrigate some freshly broadcasted rye seed. They had some fun as well with a VERY "hands on" approach to reeling up 200' of hose.
