Today, 10/4, is Layleen Polanco's b-day. She would be 31. Instead, NYC's systems of bail, jail, & solitary confinement took her life. Today we remember & honor Laylen & demand the NYC Council & Mayor honor Layleen by enacting Intro. No. 549 immediately to end solitary confinement

Yet, they say they have MDC under control when in reality these humans are suffering just as bad as humans in Rikers they just don’t get enough media like Rikers but I will work on shinning light on MDC as well.

Lots of fake tears from CO’S today. I want them to imagine drowning everyday feeling like your hurt was ripped out of your chest, my sister is dead she didn’t get a chance to testify on how inhuman she was treated at Rikers like you guys had the chance to do so today!

For this correctional officer you want me to think about your kids? Can you think about how my children come to me begging me to find someone that can spiritually connect them with their aunt Layleen Polanco?

Let’s also talk about the conditions these individuals are under. Rikers island is a death sentence and MDC isn’t feeding or providing them with hot showers or showers in general and have people on 24 hour lock down without seeing or speaking to their loved ones.
