Thank you Governor Wes Moore for proclaiming March as Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month (DDAM) in Maryland! DDAM recognizes the contributions that people with DD make to our communities. Maryland is stronger when people with and without DD live, learn, work and play together.

Advocacy doesn’t just raise awareness, it transforms lives. Today, I was proud to stand alongside the very people who are making that transformation possible, and reaffirm April as Autism Acceptance Month in Maryland.
