Had a brilliant night last night at Writing on the Wall #PulpIdol24 I honestly couldn’t have picked a winner, all so different but all sounded brilliant and I was keen to read the whole book. Congratulations to all the finalists

Lots going on at Museum of Liverpool over the next few days to mark #WorldAIDSDay2023 including this incredible quilt on display

WOW Bristol Beacon What a venue, what a performance by the brilliant Paraorchestra and what a night. Bristol will see many more fabulous nights in this venue over the years to come and rightly so but it was great to be there at the first!

On the train (well my second train, one has already been cancelled) and very excited to be on my way to the opening of Bristol Beacon (so far my journey looks like it 4 trains but if I have to walk I will be there 🤞🏼)

There are two very scary points from this chart. The first is the massive reduction in Cultural funding it show in one of the UK’s most culturally thriving cities. And the second is they had to create a new heading for orgs which had closed since applying!!! #Bristol

Every city would be delighted to have Watershed in their area, it is so much more than “just a cinema” (although to be clear we need cinemas) and it’s delivers significantly for the people of Bristol. It’s tough for everyone at the moment but this is very sad. Support them Bristol!

Great turn out for tonight’s Arts for Peace walk

Inspiring night full of brilliant ideas and energy as we discuss Writing on the Wall 2024. So many theme suggestion, great speakers discussed and opportunities for partnerships. What they decide I am sure it will be fab.

Today and every day we stand with our wonderful trans community.

#TransgenderDayOfRemembrance is a day to remember those killed or who have taken their own lives because of transphobia.

Together we can build a world inclusive to trans and non-binary people.
