Happy to be at DevoxxUK 🇬🇧 8-10 May 2024! As I found out later, my choice of a yellow t-shirt was unfortunate: The conference helpers have yellow t-shirts, too. But as my t-shirt reads, “I love coding and maybe 3 people”, nobody mistakes me for a helpful person. Or even a friendly one! 😉

How do you know you're at a developer conference? The restroom queue is at the men's room.

Can you guess the conference?

My monthly newsletter goes quarterly. But I’ll keep the “Java Technology Popularity Index”: What technologies companies hire for, what courses developers buy, what they search for, and what they ask about at Stack Overflow.

Some software marketing guys don't want to be in marketing anymore and call themselves 'content developers' now. Does that make us developers 'code developers'? Will sales guys be 'solution developers'? IT guys 'compute developers'? And HR people 'human developers'? 🤔

If you have a Mac and use Apple’s music app, then give Spotica Menu a try! It puts music controls into the menubar - and gives them keyboard shortcuts!
