Scout Hounds friend Jon from @mayaamericahead stopped by yesterday for a visit. They determined, after 4 years of running the folding corn head, that it had a much less maintenance cost that a basset hound; but pointed out 4 yrs is 28 in dog years, so really they are a bargain 🤷‍♂️

#organic #farming, took first cutting hay off this organic field and the. No tilled in organic food grade corn , emergence should happen tmr so we’re flamming it today to hold any alfalfa back long enough to get the corn up and above it

Good progress so far

Finished my corn then headed back north to help a good friend and neighbor with his last and worst 80. The Maya outperformed his Drago with reel, IMO. He was off a half dozen times unplugging and I stayed in the seat. Hope to finish him tomorrow and call it a season.
