An engaging performance delivered by two young brass ensembles, Slide Action and Connaught Brass, in Brilliant Brass. The concert culminated with a world premiere arrangement of Britten's Sea Interludes.

A dazzling double act from @connaughtbrass and Slide Action at Britten Pears Arts with clever arrangements of Britten, Poulenc and Lili Boulanger, alongside music written for trombone quartet and brass quintet by Saskia Apon and Mogens Andresen showcasing these versatile ensembles.

Principal bass trombone of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Josh Cirtina joins the RCM as bass trombone professor in September 2025! A regular recording artist and Artistic Director of Slide Action, Josh has performed with orchestras worldwide including at King Charles III's Coronation.
