The last two books I read and two of the best of the year. Honestly, they should be essential reading for everyone. SOME STRANGE MUSIC DRAWS ME IN by Griffin Hansbury and Tawseef Khan’s DETERMINATION are both beautiful, character driven, empathic novels which I simply adored.

Today I learned of the death of Nour-El-Din Hajjaj (left) a brilliant young graduate, writer, and maths teacher in a UNRWA school. He had been sheltering in Rafah and was forced by the Israeli bombardment to flee back north. We don’t have any more details. Rest in power brother.
