I have endorsed this letter and strongly agree with the points herein. Moreover, I think there are even more serious reasons the AlphaFold3 publication in nature is highly problematic and antithetical to core scientific principles!

The thing that most strikes me about the current outbreak in cattle (and terrifies me to some extent) is how much the virus surprised us once again. And how cavalier our response seems in the face of that fact.
