Learning to share & understand different cultures can play a role in reducing reoffending as it builds a stronger sense of society. #BlackHistoryMonth gives prisoners a chance to understand Black history through educational events such as open discussions, & historical accounts.

This #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth, we raised over £500 for Teasdale Cancer Research UK Group, which has supported the UK’s Drug Discovery Centre & Childhood Cancer Research Centre in the North East for 50 years. Prisoners donated over half the money raised & staff held a bake sale 👏

Our prison and regional office staff have collected five trollies worth of toys for Cash for Kids North East's Mission Christmas campaign! A big thank you to our colleagues for their incredible generosity. These donations will help ensure no child goes without a gift this Christmas. 🎁
