Barrister Safiya Umar Badamasi, from Katsina State, has made history by becoming the first woman from northern Nigeria to become a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN). This is indeed a remarkable feat.

When the elite get an opportunity to help people while on power, their first thought is to identify their follow elite— who are doing very well— in order to further enrich them. Everything about appointment, contracts and other privileges is usually fueled by serious nepotism.

The government will give you money with their right hands and use their left hands through increase in tax to collect even more than they have given you in the first place.

At this rate, I think there is a deliberate sabotage in this club. They should sack the entire medical staff.

Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un. This guy is always on my mentions and replies on twitter. We engage a lot as mutuals but unbeknownst to me he is a bloody criminal. I really thought he is a nice guy. Now I understand why some people don’t like engaging with others online. Wow!

The massive lack of information and bare minimum knowledge of basic things make students see their teachers, who are merely stating the obvious, as demigods.

Following the success of Gombe Geographical and Information System which earned GOGIS a national award, Kano Government sent a powerful delegation to Gombe to study the modus operandi of GOGIS under Kabiru Usman, PhD. The team spent days in Gombe and went back with a report. Great!

This reminds me of Rashford and Martial at United. Bunch of lazy players that are so pedestrian but with the ego of Ronaldo and Messi. I blame the managers that pamper them for years.

Ajaokuta company obviously depicts Nigeria’s failure. In 1980, President Shagari laid the foundation stone for Ajaokuta plant. By 1994, Ajaokuta steel was at 98% completion rate. But 44 years later, after gulping more than $8bn, Ajaokuta has never produced anything. Just sell it!
