Just finished THE TANGLED STARS by Edward Willett. Can Coop Douglas benefit from a monumental discovery before his questionable past catches up with him? An exciting space chase full of colorful characters and unexpected twists that keeps the reader guessing until the very end.
Recently read DEVICE FREE WEEKEND by Sean Doolittle. A successful and eccentric CEO invites his old friends for a weekend getaway to reconnect, but really his plans are much more sinister. A thriller that surprises and shocks. An exciting and fun read!
Recently read ANTIMATTER BLUES by Edward Ashton. The colony commander has to reluctantly call upon the Mickey, the man he can’t stand, to safe the colony on the planet Niflheim. With a dry wit and some exciting action, this is a wonderfully fun book to read!
Recently read A LIKELY STORY by Leigh McMullan Abramson. Isabelle is struggling to find her place in the world and her mother’s death has made that struggle extra complicated. Uniquely witty and quite charming, this book is an entertaining quest of self-discovery.
Recently read WELCOME TO THE CIRCUS OF BASEBALL by Ryan McGee. A entertaining look at minor league baseball from Mcgee’s experience with the Asheville Tourists. The book is full of colorful characters and fascinating stories. A really fun read!
Just finished THE FERRYMAN by justin cronin. Proctor Bennett ferries people in decline to a youthful new life. When he has to ferry his father, his understanding of everything begins to unravel. I enjoyed every moment with Bennett on his search for what life and death really mean.
Recently read TITANIUM NOIR by Nick Harkaway. It’s a uniquely wonderful mashup of a classic detective story and a fascinating sci fi tale. Exciting and unpredictable, I was riveted from beginning to end. A great read!
Just finished PURE COSMOS CLUB by matthew binder. Paul, an eccentric artist, is searching for meaning in his life. He is a flawed yet lovable narrator and along with a unique cast of characters that includes a dog that seems more human than animal makes this book a great read!
Just finished ROGUE JUSTICE by Stacey Abrams. Avery Keene is thrust into solving a hidden conspiracy before it unleashed on America. A fast-paced, exciting political thriller that is a rollercoaster ride from beginning to end. A great read!
Just finished RELENTLESS MELT by jpb.bsky.social, formerly Jeremy P Bushnell. Exciting period detective tale set in the early 1900’s in Boston. Loaded with intrigue, surprises, and a fascinating sci-fi twist that will keep the reader guessing until the very end. A pleasure to read!
Recently read MISTER MAGIC by Kiersten White. When a group of adults who were on a kids show together are reunited, they start to wonder what the show they were on really was. Creepy, original and relatable to all of us who grew up in front of a TV, I really enjoyed this book!
Just finished THE SKY VAULT by Benjamin Percy. Something unexplained is happening in Alaska. As the unexplained begins to reveal itself, more than just Alaska could be changed forever in this conspiracy thriller. Exciting read!
Recently read THE BOOK OF DOORS by Gareth Brown. An exciting, magical adventure about a woman who acquires a book that can take her anywhere. Now she is pursued by a host of mysterious people and she has to decide who to trust. A wonderful read!
Just finished MAL GOES TO WAR by Edward Ashton. A near future story about Mal, a untethered AI who is searching for a new cyber home and finds itself to be more human than most of the humans it meets. Equal parts exciting, humorous and moving, it’s a great read!
Recently read THE MINISTRY OF TIME, by Kaliane Bradley, published by Simon & Schuster. A wonderful story full of action, fascinating sci-fi, dry humor and heart-warming romance. I was riveted from beginning end. Great read.
