This was recommended in a Grattan Institute report a few years ago. It has been assessed by independent experts as safe, ↓ copays, ↓ GP workload but also ↓ pharmacy owner income. I still support this theage.com.au/politics/feder…

This is a fantastic idea. Even better doctors should just write private scripts with increased dispensing quantities for those medications that make no difference in cost whether private or PBS. Best example of this: 6 month supply of OCP dispensed once.

Still doubling down. Wow. No clinician I know believes the current system or level of funding is working. We all said that. We are all still saying it. Yet instead of working together this vendetta continues. A sad day for patients & workforce. theage.com.au/politics/feder…

This is misleading. I am a 3rd year doctor at Core Training level or Specialist Registrar Level 1. Here is my payslip. I get paid £19 an hour. My salary is £40257 a year. Not £55900. #PayRestoration @BMA_JuniorDocs DoctorsVote 🦀 #TellThemAgain

This is a fantastic initiative by the Federal government that all doctors can support. It will cut “just a script” visits down and for the truly stable patients, an annual check up and script refill is all that is needed. More efficiency and capacity for our healthcare system.

The head of one of the top political donors in the country has been touted as a future Senator, while the Liberals he would join back him in on a major debate. It's high time we shine a light on the murky world of lobbying and political donations. smh.com.au/politics/feder…

AI doing good: An exciting paper on utilising machine-learning / AI in the discovery of a new bacteria specific anti-microbial targeting drug resistant A. baumannii! Now to do the same for MRSA, VRE, Pseudomonas etc etc. nature.com/articles/s4158…

I just tested it to make sure I'm not crazy on a new device on iOS 17, and from first visiting HeyDATA.org, through Gumroad/Apple Pay checkout, all the way through initializing and installing. The ENTIRE process to get to the point of having a conversation with DATA

After 5 years of work, we have finally reached our next big milestone! We have heard the feedback and now non-clinician sophisticated investors in Australia can now invest with us!

More will come! And also it will spill over to other specialties and also junior doctors. It has been bad for years and now it’s just gotten so bad that doctors are being galvanised to action!
