I think we need more content on professional players talking about their juniors and how coaches helped them be successful (e.g. what was the most important thing they were taught) Would be good content for both young players and grassroots coaches

This guy does not enjoy football, too busy being obsessed with systems & structure, instead of enjoying a generational creator, he’s got 2 assists which contributed to 2 goals, which are the aim of football

Their quality individually isn’t that good (not based on this game but based on others over the last 12 months) they just hit a good purple patch and got enough results last year to paper over the cracks

A few months ago, I started saying something to my players more and more: "Keep the ball"... A quick reminder that clarity is not the same as control... 🧵👇

In all honestly, I don’t think McGree or Al-Hassan Toure deserve a gig just yet. The former has been injured and hasn’t started for Boro, and Al-Hassan has been inconsistent for Sydney (2 average games 1 good game). At some point in the future they would be great, but not for now

Arguably the same could be said for Craig Goodwin who still needs to find his feet after injury, but unlike the other two he’s earned his merits in most of his games for the Roos

Same goes for Irvine. Seems Popa is kinda going against his whole “earn your cap with minutes” strategy when discussing Maty Ryan etc earlier on in his tenure
