Went to check in with Ryanair 1 hour 57 mins pre departure. App wouldn't let me as I was 'late' (?!), so had to queue at check-in & waste someone's time and pay a £55 fine. How is such an arbitrary/ grossly disproportionate fine okay? Why £55 and not £10 or £500? Disgraceful.
